One time, at band camp…

That’s me having just returned from band camp in Louisville, Kentucky. The camp was called Camp Crescendo and it was for marching bands. An Early Hero…

When I was growing up I used to watch The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson a lot. It wasn’t because I thought he was funny or because I liked Johnny. Steph and I playing very drunken duets...

Well I’ve put my first blog post off as long as I can. It seems like a lot of work looming ahead. My plan is to write about once a week. Usually I will write about trumpet stuff, but from time to time the subject may vary a bit. I hope to get some feedback, or even some questions that will help me come up with topics too write about. I guess we’ll see how it goes?

The first one is easy for me. I have some people to thank and I think this is the perfect place to do it.

First, I have to thank the web designers Joseph and Stephanie Lavoie of Corktown Design. They have put in a ton of time and have been very patient with my endless questions and e-mails. I have known Stephanie for years and I can tell you she is a wonderful trumpet player.

Second, I also would like to thank a wonderful new company, Lipstick Productions. They have done a great job on my bios and other public relations materials.

And last, but certainly not least, I have to thank my wife Danielle. She’s sleeping on the couch next to me right now while I watch college football and write this. She’s very supportive and also extremely cute!
